Headrest, bamboo
human history
This is made from one section of 'ofe (bamboo) which has been dried and roughly polished. There is a hole that is drilled in on one side of the 'ofe above the bottom edge. Note: This was not recognized as an unfinished 'ali 'ofe (bamboo headrest) as it states on Vernon. It can possibly be a flute (which the drilled hole would indicate) but not a flute of Samoan descent.
