i Roi

i Roi. Fly whisk. Made from composite materials. The i Roi consists of a long wood-turned liga ni i roi (whisk handle) that is round in section and a medium brown colour, and whisk made from sandy blonde ulu ni ose (horse hair). Towards the butt end of the liga are six lines carved around the circumference. The butt of the liga itself is chipped. Black cotton thread is wrapped around the top of the liga just below the base of the whisk. The ulu ni ose (horse hair) is straight and lustrous and are intricately woven in small clumps to the top of the handle, altogether they create thick volume.
