Auaro. Pillow slip. Rectangular shape. Matches tivaevae 55855 (ethnology number) and pillow slip 55858 (ethnology number) as a complete set. Pillow slip sewn from cotton fabric of royal blue with multi-coloured applique design sewn by hand on one side. Design of materita (chrysanthemum) flowers and green leaves. Two red materita with white tataura (embroidery), one yellow materita with pink tataura. Pillow slip has white eyelet borders along shortest sides.
