Tahitian tivaevae

Quilt (English)

Tifaefae. Applique embroidered quilt. Large rectangular shape. Consisting of royal blue coloured tulip shaped motifs with green coloured hibiscus flower motifs that stem from a large mid-toned blue coloured, circular floral design. The design has been embroidered upon a light-blue coloured background. A mid-toned blue coloured border has been sewn around the edges. There are few light yellow/brown stains visible across the tifaefae.
