fragment, barkcloth
human history
Ngatu and fala fragments. Woven fragment is dark brown in colour and finely woven, possibly smoked or is a dark coloured lou akau. Ngatu fragments are both very thin in depth, looks like they've been cut from a bigger piece of ngatu, has evidence of koka dye on it. These three fragments could have been samples of ngatu and woven materials, they all have been cut from a bigger piece or section.
