Sisi. Waist ornament. Kahoa. Neck ornament. This can be worn both as a kahoa neck ornament as well as a sisi waist ornament. This is made entirely from natural and dyed fau (hibiscus) fibre. The main band is plaited and on the outside it is decorated with fau flowers in natural, green, pink, yellow, and orange colours. Extending from this band are natural coloured strands of fau. There are braided ties at either end which can be used to secure the sisi/kahoa.
