Fao'a. Stone adze. This Fao'a (adze) is worked from ofa'i (stone) of a grey-brown colour. The surface is left flaked with no shoulder and a reduction in size toward the poll. The Fao'a is somewhat triangular in section. Large chipped-off area at the cutting edge as well as at the poll.
