'Arā. Adze blade. Carved from a single piece of ofa'i (stone). Trapezoidal cross-section, with a steep bevel and a sharp cutting edge. The front of the blade, the bevel, and the cutting edge are of high polish with areas of the poll, butt, and sides of the blade left flaked and pecked. Grey in overall colour with red/brown colouring throughout.
