Coconut leaves with midribs removed folded over rolled sennit cord. Plaited in check for c.80mm then leaves split into three for fine plaiting. Two cornered bag. Braided closed at base then two braided ends, these are tucked in at each end. Painted with turmeric. Made by Nau Morotai, of Tikopia in 1977.
