'Arā. Adze blade. Carved from a single piece of ofa'i (stone), quadrangular in cross-section, with a steep bevel, and a mild to moderately sharp cutting edge. Overall surface treatment left pecked, with sides of the poll and butt left flaked. Reduced from the shoulder to the butt. There is a rough patch across the front of the blade. Grey in overall colour.
