Weird & Wonderful and Auckland Museum is proud to host two digital interactives. 'Creature Cutouts', designed by Jenna Gavin and Mathew Martin, has been developed through the Digital Art Live Programme with the support of Auckland Live and Colab at AUT University. Our second interactive is 'Quiver' - an augmented reality experience featuring creatures that can be found in the Weird & Wonderful Gallery.
All children aged 13 and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult while inside the Museum and in Weird & Wonderful.
Weird & Wonderful school bookings
During the term we will host school groups as part of our education programme in the Weird and Wonderful gallery. At these times access to the central part of the space will be restricted. We welcome visitors either side of these times.
