• Court of Enquiry held at London on 29 January 1919 concluded "Dead" and that the date of death was 18 January 1918. He went missing from No.2 General Hospital where he was suffering from Vincent's Angina. His hat and letters were found by the river bank and letters written to his wife confirm intention of suicide.
