Past Event
MON 5 SEP, 6pm

The internet has increased opportunities for large-scale online social participation. Rebellion is trending. But how is online awareness transformed into action on the ground?

Auckland War Memorial Museum – Tāmaki Paenga Hira.

Chaired by journalist and media commentator Russell Brown, your expert panel for the evening features director of campaigns at ActionStation Laura O'Connell Rapira, cartoonist and illustrator Toby Morris, environmental activist and senior campaign advisor for Greenpeace New Zealand Steve Abel and Sina Brown-Davis, activist and commentator on Indigenous rights.

Throughout the course of the evening, watch out for a couple of Dr Seuss characters as they teach you a strategy or two.

Enjoy panoramic views of Auckland City from the Museum’s level three Event Centre, a delicious food menu created by the chefs at Dawsons Catering, and a selection of drinks at the bar.
