• Rangi is a brother to John Henderson # 67415 who was also killed in WWII
  Corporal Rangi Henderson, who embarked with the 5th Reinforcements. He was killed in action on the 26/3/43.

Henderson. —Treasured memories of our dear son, Rangitakina Waiheke Tureia, who was killed in action at Tabarca Gap, March 26, 1943.
Our days are covered o’er with grief,
And sorrows neither few nor brief.
Veil all in gloom; Left desolate of real good
Within this cheerless solitude
No pleasures bloom.
