    Joined Bn at Mudros, and reverted to the ranks, 30 September 1915.
    Promoted Corporal, 1 October 1915.
    Disembarked Alexandria, 29 December 1915 (general Gallipoli evacuation).
    Embarked Egypt for France, 6 April 1916.
    Granted temporary rank of Sergeant, 29 May 1916.
    Promoted Sergeant, 10 July 1916.
    Killed in action, 16 September 1916. AWMM
