    • Henry Talbot was the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Talbot, of Motueka, Nelson, New Zealand. AWMM
    • Second child, of 5 children, of Frederick Henry & Emma (nee Duncan) Talbot - of Motueka, Nelson Region.

      Brother of Artillery Sergeant Frederick Merle Talbot (1893-1951) - of the New Zealand Field Artillery, 23rd Reinforcements, NZEF - who served at France. Artillery Sergeant Frederick M. Talbot returned to New Zealand - aboard HT 'Kigoma' - arriving at New Zealand on 10 February 1920. He was discharged from the NZEF on 10 February 1920 as no longer physically fit for military service (due to gas poisoning at France). Frederick M. Talbot died at Motueka in 1951.
