  • 100 years ago today you were sadly taken from this world. Serving with an injury in a very unforgiving environment. You are a true hero. I’m sure that would have been incredibly wounding and hard for your wife and infant son, to lose you; and your parents and siblings to lose another brother in the war. I know you and my great grandad were very close, sadly he was the only one of you brothers to return home. Your service photo is with our family, proudly hanging in my fathers study, on the farm your brother bought and called home after he returned. We remember you! Hope you enjoy the flowers our family has sent to your resting place and know that you are not forgotten. RIP great great uncle xxxxx
