- LANCE- CORPORAL R. MANIERA. Lance-Corporal Richard Manuel or Manuera who is reported to have been killed in action on August 8th was an old pupil of Te Aute College. Hawke's Bay. His father is Manuel Waata Te Kao. A younger brother went to Samoa with the Advance Expeditionary Force, and is now a sergeant in ne 2nd Maori Contingent.Public - Lorraine Mona - Researcher - 15 April 2024 - THE ROLL OF HONOUR.
