  • Lewis Cuthbert Turton was my mother's Uncle. I have known for many years about what happened to him during the war. He left England to live in New Zealand and start a new life. He joined the forces and was injured in Turkey, then died. This website has enabled me to contact a relative who was previously unknown to me. We are now sharing information and photos to complete our family tree. Lewis has linked our past to our present. I feel very honored to have him as member of my family.
