  • William was my mothers (Elizabeth Chapman) brother who was always fondly remembered by her...I grew up hearing about him and apparantly my youngest son looks a lot like him. I actually think of him a lot as he was an uncle I never got to know...who never got to fall in love..marry and raise a family...just a simple farm boy who was transported into a living nightmare. Thanks Uncle Bill for making the ultimate sacrifice for your country and family
