    Public - AJ - Researcher - 11 September 2020 - George Everett Davis was an alias of Charles TOHILL of Dunedin. His parents were John Tohill and Sarah Ann Everett. When George Everett Davis married Ruby Pearl Smith in Auckland in 1912, he listed his parents as John Davis and Sarah Ann Everett, gave his birth place as Dunedin, and in all ways other than his own name matched the details of Charles Tohill. There is a 1929 file on Archway under the name Charles Tohill about the alias. On paperspast a death notice in 1917 uses his birth name.
