Bead ornament

Bead ornament. This is a carved ivory whale bone bead. It is shaped like a an oval sphere. Its form taper's off into two flat surfaces on each side. Both sides feature a drilled perforation that connects internally. Its surface is smooth and pale yellow in colour.
