[Turtle]
Turtle. Model of a turtle. This is a carved souvenir model of a sea turtle. It has been made entirely as one component from eme (Prionopids ferruginea; Miro). It features two hind legs in the form of stubs and two flippers that have been carved into and along its sides. A head is featured at the front with two inlays defining its eyes on either side. A small tail features at the other end. Its shell hump is raised with grooved lines carved into the surface of the shell body. A small crater features upon the top of the shell hump and some dried black residue can be seen inside of the small crater. Its base is entirely flat and undefined. The exterior, excluding the base has been finished with a polish.
