Ike. Bark cloth beater. Used for pounding and producing sheets of masi (bark cloth). Carved from solid kau (wood). Long and elliptical in cross section with a tapered handle with a rounded butt-end. All sides with grooves spaced approximately 1mm-3mm apart. Brown in colour.
