Titoko
Titoko. Staff. Carved from a single piece of kau (wood), long and straight, with an oval cross-section. The upper area of the Titoko is decorated with multiple rows of tavatava (shallow incisions), in vertical zigzag patterns, with a horizontal row of tavatava, also zigzag in pattern, across the base of the vertical rows and around the middle area of the rows, forming two sections. There are three rows of tavatava, zigzag patterns, around the top end of the Titoko. There is a circular indentation visible near the lower end of the Titoko. The butt end is rounded.
