i Roi

i Roi. Fly whisk. Made from composite materials, in two separate components. The i Roi consists of a long liga ni i roi (handle) carved from kau (wood) round in section, with magimagi (coconut sennit) as the whisk. Dark brown strands of magimagi are long, tightly braided at the base where they attach to the wooden handle then become loose strands as they flare outwards from the handle. The wooden handle is of a light brown colour, polished and slightly flared one end. An engraved ring around the circumference of the handle where the whisk material would tie around.
