Pūpū ‘awa

Pūpū ‘awa. Coconut shell cup used for ‘awa (kava). This cup is cut longitudinally in half form a coconut shell and highly polished. It is dark brown in colour. It has a small perforation on the peak at the base of the shell, possibly for suspension when not in use.
