i Karikari. Spatula implement. Carved and shaped from a curved section of turtle bone. Paddle shaped with a narrowed shorter lug used as a handle at one end. Sides and edges of the spatula ground down. Textured surface from the natural porous surface of the turtle bone. Brown in colour.
