Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Dark grey in colour. Trapezoidal cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Shallow, concaved bevel surface. Front of blade is flat. Slightly raised shoulder reduced to butt end. Butt and poll are pecked with loss at poll. Low level of polish and areas of pecking in overall surface treatment.
