Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved basalt stone. Grey in colour. Triangular cross-section. Chipped cutting edge. Bevel surface is steep and slightly convex. Front of blade is flat and square. Butt is longer than the blade. Butt is pecked. Flaked poll. Overall surface of the adze is mostly polished with areas of pecking and flaking still visible.
