Sedre ni Kakana. Food dish. Carved from kau (wood) into a shallow round shape with pronounced points at wider ends of the dish, as well as a two-pronged liga ni sedre (handle of dish). Decorated with tavatava (the zigzag carved serrations on the under edge of rim). The Sedre ni Kakana has yava i tolu (three legs) carved from kau as supports for the underside. Light-coloured and dark-coloured markings, possibly patina, across the dish. There is a nail protruding near the centre of the dish. Crack visible in the handle. Dark brown in colour with a glossy patina.
