i Cula ni Bokola

human history

i Cula ni Bokola. Carved from solid kau (wood) into a form consisting of three distinctive components that resemble squid-like characteristics. The mid-section of the fork has multiple grooves and ridges carved across the length. Across each ridge are carved rows of notches, reminiscent of tentacles of a squid. The top of the handle is carved into a shape that resembles the head of a squid. Dark brown in colour and some patina.
