Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from toka (stone). dark in colour with flecks of white. Triangular cross-section. Blunt cutting edge. Steep bevel surface. Front of blade is flat, with continuous reduction towards butt end and poll. Overall surface of the adze is highly polished
