Ulutoa. Dart head component from a throwing game. Carved from hardwood into a cylindrical bullet shaped form, highly polished. Round in section. Hollowed inside at the butt with a smaller wooden stick component protruding outwards. Dark brown in colour. Grain of the kau (wood) is wavy giving the effect that the wooden exterior surface is raised in rings.
