Toki. Adze. Carved from toka (stone). Grey in colour. Triangular cross-section. Dull cutting edge, with minor chipping. Bevel surface is concave. Raised shoulder. From the shoulder reduced to butt. Butt left pecked. Poll left pecked. Overall surface treatment left pecked. Low level polish all over. Good condition. "1046 Raratonga [sic] PRES." in white ink handwritten on the front of the blade. A round light-coloured sticker is stuck on the front of the blade. "Dr. BUCK" handwritten in black ink across the sticker. "RAROTONGA[?] A[?] P[?] C[?]" is faintly visible written in pencil across the front of the blade.
