Souvenir

human history

Souvenir. This was acquired from Pitcairn Island. The outside of the large and round shell plate shows its original exterior of the crustation. The interior of the shell however, features a hand painted cluster of flowers and the text 'PITCAIRN ISLAND' just below against the pearl background of the interior. It is slightly heavy in weight.
