Kahoa
human history
Kahoa. Necklace. This kahoa is made from coral discs of the same diameter which have been strung onto a string. There are alternating pule (cowrie) and miniature conch shells which have been added at regular intervals between the coral discs. This kahoa was likely made for the tourist trade. It is very fragile and a few of the coral discs have broken or fallen off.
