Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Grey in colour. Triangular cross-section. Dull cutting edge. Steep bevel surface. Flat front of blade. Raised shoulder reduced to butt end. Butt end is rounded at the sides, and shows evidence of flaking and pecking. Poll is slightly polished. Low to moderate level polish overall. Overall surface shows evidence of pecking.
