Fired clay vase. Moulded facial features front and back, eyes, nose, brows and lips. ears are moulded with adornments hanging from the lobes. The nose of one face it the vase is broken off but is present with acquisition so could possible be reattached. Small stem and wide vase lip. 143x81 diameter. Vase is from the only place in the Sepik area that make the two sided faces work.
