Toki, Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Dark grey in colour. Triangular in cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Steep bevel. Prominent chin. Sides have a little pecking still visible. Front of the blade is slightly rounded. Raised shoulder. From shoulder reduced to butt. Butt left pecked. Poll left roughly pecked. Surface polished overall.
