Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from toka (stone). Light brown in colour. Trapezoidal in cross-section. Dull cutting edge. Bevel is rounded, shallow. Sides are smooth. Front of the blade is flat with areas of pecking evident. Prominent shoulder. From the shoulder reduced to butt and poll. BUtt and poll left pecked. Overall surface treatment is polished.
