Toki, Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Dark brown in colour. Triangular in cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Steep bevel. Sides are roughly polished. Front of the blade is flat and highly polished. Raised shoulder. From shoulder reduced to butt. Butt left pecked. Poll left pecked and flaked.
