'Arā. Adze blade. Carved from a single piece of ofa'i (stone), triangular in cross-section, with a moderately steep bevel. The blade is of high polish, with the poll, sides, butt and shoulder left flaked. There is a red coloured circular shaped marking across the blade. Mid to dark grey in colour. Chipping visible across the cutting edge.
