'Arā. Adze blade. Carved from a single piece of ofa'i (stone), triangular in cross-section, with a moderately steep bevel, and a blunt cutting edge. Prominent shoulder. From the shoulder reduced to butt. The overall surface treatment is left pecked, with the butt left flaked. Low to moderate level polish overall. Rectangular shaped marking, possibly residue along the side of the blade. Chipping in the corner of the cutting edge and shoulder. Grey in colour.
