Kain iniai
human history
Kain iniai. Fire stick. This implement, part of a set, is made of uri wood. It is cylindrical in shape with a curved profile. The bark is still intact on the outer surface of the wood. The uri tree is significant in that it is the only tree that can be used to start a fire. The implement is rubbed to create friction against another stick of uri wood, eventually creating sparks.
