Neu ni Kanoana. Pouch. This is a childrens pouch used to carry projectiles made from coconut pellets which would be projected from a toy pop-gun referred to as Te kati. The pouch is made from a large fibrous leaf that has dried a mid-tone brown. It has been cut and shaped into a form similar to that of an envelope. Te noko (coconut midribs) have been inserted between the fibrous layers to hold the fibrous layers together at the sides of the pouch. The same technique has been applied to create a triangular flap at the opening. A length of te kora (cordage of coconut sennit fibres) has been attached to the pointed area of the triangular flap.
