Te Bure. A pair of egg cowrie shells. This pair of bure (egg cowrie shells) are each perforated with a short cord of te kora (coconut sennit) threaded through to attach them together. Both of these bure are white in colour with a matte surface, although there are areas of darker brown spots across the surface.
