Toki, Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Dark in colour. Triangular in cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Concave bevel. Sides are polished. Front of the blade is flat. Chip at lower end of the blade. Slightly raised shoulder. From shoulder reduced to butt. Butt left pecked. Poll left pecked.
