Composite basket, probably lined with card support. Three trees on each side and 'TONGA' painted on tapa. The ends of check plaiting in pandanus. Lining of woven plastic rice bag. Single braided shoulder strap. Closed with two pandanus toggles and loops. Loops appear to be hibiscus fibre.
