Penu. Stone pounder. This penu (pounder) has been worked and smoothed from ofa'i (stone). The shaft of the penu is cylindrical in shape though flares out towards the circular base. There is a large depression on the convex pounding surface. The penu is topped with two raised nodes for a grip. The penu is grey in colour.
